Archaeobotany
Diego Sabato leads the archaeobotanical study
The archaeobotanical sampling strategy entailed water flotation and water sieving techniques, aiming to explore the historical relationship between habitation and the natural environment. On-site archaeobotanical research proved very productive, allowing archaeobotanists to target botanically rich and culturally important deposits during excavation.
